Where did the S-20 fit in?

I noticed someone in my area has an S-20 carbon for sale on craigs; I haven't been able to find a lot of info on it though.  They say it's a 1999 with a 20.5" frame (potentially perfect for me, my HG is a 21").  Where did the S-20 fit in relative to other Schwinns of the era?  It doesn't appear to be a homegrown as best I know, but what else can people tell me about it?

I tried to look it up on bicycle blue book but had no luck there.  If anyone has a general guide to what it should be worth that would be great too.  By the pictures on the ad it seems to be in great shape but I haven't seen it in person yet.  It looks like the frame has no rear mounts for disc brake but I have made it this far in life with v-brakes and cantis so I'm not too worried about that.

The carbon S-20 had the same main frame as the Homegrown All-Mountains of the type. The rear triangle may be different, and the components would be lower-level than on a Homegrown. It may have the 22mm disc mounts, like the Homegrowns. Not my area of expertise, honestly.

Thank you for the quick reply!  It seems like an interesting creature, and I just might have to make a run over to look at it.  The owner is asking $375, is that a reasomnable price for it?  My best guess for what to price it against would be the carbon Gary Fisher Joshuas of the same ear, and $375 is slightly less than expected for those in BBB.

All that said, I don't need a softtail right now.  And my wife would probably rather I not buy another bike (regardless of how odd the next one is).  It's just fun to toy with the idea in my head...

thank you!

Price seems a little high but it's been a while since I've compared those. Looking at completed (sold) ebay listings can be a decent reference.

Also depends on the condition/quality of the parts on it and whether there's any issues with the bushing on the pivot.
