red frame is in excellent shape 21 in I beleive

blue frame I believe is a 19 in  see pics for measurements

blue frame is an older model from what I can tell  from this site with a custom paint job and I dont believe the badging on the head tube is correct . maybe somone made there own creation lol . the red frame is a newer mode land badging looks to be correct  by looking on this site as well. both frames are super light .

What price are you asking for the Blue 19" frame?  I assume you're OK with shipping?  If you prefer pick-up, where are you located?

Thanks,

$125 each is a very fair price, especially for the blue one IMO.  If it was a 17" I would be jumping on it.  Good luck with Sale.

BBB one looks like a 97 Factory, except the top tube "S" decal is black stripe like an Underground. Plus a few extra decals and Chicage head badge.

I've got a Factory BBB 97 and it has the cable stops on top of the top tube versus on the side like your frame.

The blue one is not a Factory IMO.  It was a standard Homegrown repainted some time ago.  The seatstays don't look tapered either.  A sure fire answer would be a picture of the weld on the seatstay.  Homegrown's are a single tube fully curved, but Factory frames are 2 seperate tubes (because they are tapered) that get welded together at the top.  If its a Factory, the weld beads make a "T" shape with a bead lined up with the tire.

I just checked my 97 Factory and compared it to my son-in-law's HG. Never noticed that before.

The standard Homegrown's were made from straight gauge 6061 Aluminum.  The Homegrown Factory's were made from Tapered Easton 7005 aluminum (from 1996-1998).  I lost track of the changes when they went to ICBM headset design (1999 or 2000?).  A 17" Homegrown Factory frame weighs about 3lbs, white the 17" Homegrown frame is about 3.5lbs.  The Factory frames had a slightly cushier ride, but the brakes would really flex the seat stays in the rear.  The Factory frames were the go-to choice for weight weenie builds.  I had a complete Factory frame/bike with suspension fork, 3x8 drivetrain and knobby tires weighing in at 19lbs complete.

As far as I know, Factory refers to the model " Homegrown Factory" versus a regular Homegrown frame. It was a higher end model frame with higher end components. I have no idea why schwinn used the term "Homegrown Factory". Somebody on this site probably knows.
