This was purchased as a frame only.  All the parts were installed seperately.  These were good bikes, but I never did care for the oversized pivot.  I found that for some reason the chain liked to jump off the crankset on big hits.  I tried everything to fix the problem, including the removal of so many links of chain that I could not go from middle ring to large cog.  No success.

The paint, however, was beautiful!!  It was very thick and required some effort to get the frame prepped for building.  The head tube and bottom bracket had to be smoothed down with cutting tools (imagine a headset press with cheese grater teeth being spun by hand).  I wish I still owned this bike.  Darn those early days of Ebay.

Picture question for you viewers….  Does the image get full size when you click on it as I do?  Just curious if that is a function of being in my personal thumbnails or available for all users.  Please respond and let me know.  If I need to insert the pics at greater than 640 pixels I will.

When I click on it, a new window pops up with the picture, 2100 x 1322 pixels.
