Update on decals: '98-'99 on ebay right now. See post 24 for link.

This is by no means a done deal, but IF it was possible to get frame decals from the original art, would you be interested? This would likely be complete kits-top tube, seat tube, seatstays, but NOT including Schwinn downtube decals. I do not know what pricing would be but am not trying to turn this into a money-maker (would be nice to make a little for hosting and time invested, though).

This is just to gauge general interest, so it's not broken down by Homegrown/Homegrown Factory or hardtail/FS.

Yes I would very much like a Homegrown Factory set for my 97, just like the above picture.

The HG top tube decal is the one I could use the most, I hit '2 sets.' I have a good bit of artwork & some leads on production too.

Alex, did you get a confirmation page after you voted? I'm seeing less votes than I would expect. I'll be in touch on the other artwork and vendors.

Hm, I don't remember but it won't let me vote again.

Found the problem. It's fixed, but votes from earlier today had to go bye bye. It should be opened to anyone again.

Also, be sure to click "submit" to record your preference. Replying doesn't save your choices.

Top of page = "You may not submit another entry at this time"

(note this came up after logging out, picking "two sets of 2000 HG TT sticker" and hitting save or submit, whatever. It may have logged my entry & is blocking me from addt'l entries.)

So what you're saying is that the "save configuration" button does something? Fool
I have one person that put in for one set for '95, 2 sets for '97, one 2000-2001, and one BT sticker. Otherwise if you tried to vote since my last post I have to apologize again. It is most definitely functional now.

Looking for the "Schwinn" sticker for the downtube on a 2000 Homegrown Factory.

As I said in the first post, Schwinn downtube decals are almost certain to NOT be included. Copyright issues make that one pretty tricky.

Oddly enough, this is a good time for an update anyway...

I was getting ready to let you guys know that my contact had apparently bailed on me, but he'd apparently been sick and then traveling. He got back in touch with me today so I should have info (good or bad) by end of this week.

Funny you should ask, I just saw a picture of the proof about 15 minutes ago. They exist! Right now only '98-'99, possibly more to come. No idea on timing or price-my source is checking fittment tomorrow. Will update as new info comes in.

HOLY COW I'm in for at least a couple of sets if this happens. If they're the full color waterslide type decals, I'd be willing to pay a PREMIUM for a couple of sets.

I know the first batch were going to be something along the lines of die cut vinyl to avoid some of the problems with the water transfer decals, though obviously not 100% correct. Will see if there's an option to do water transfer also.

The decals exist! Only for '98-'99 currently. They are on ebay; this isn't an affiliate link, I'm not the seller, and I'm not getting a portion of the proceeds. Any questions should be directed to the seller.

I bought 2 sets of those decals and they were spot on compared to my wife's 99 Homegrown Pro. Not many takers on the popular auction site.

I just got a set and put them on. They're sweet--the colors are great and the vinyl is way thicker than the original decals.

Doesn't look like the guy has sold many decals. For all the people screaming for them you woulda thought he would be sold out.

Anyone know where to source Schwinn downtube decals for a 2000 Homegrown? Seems like there are some aftermarket Tomato's for the top tube out there but haven't seen any Schwinn replacements.

A situation has arisen with my Charlie Sheen "WINNING!" bumper stickers I do in a font surprisingly familiar to most of us. Unforeseeable "printing errors" led to a misspelling, so I will be liquidating stock... as soon as I know how many of these "errors" will occur, and in which colors.

There have also been reports of a tornado striking the central printing offices of the USGS, and self-adhesive notation devices used to denote the exact centralized location of earthquakes have been seen falling from the sky... strangely in pairs.

First run will be on Mylar, so yeah, chrome outlines.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/271963077786?

Basically that's $7.50 ea plus shipping. If you need me to break the set, its $25/$15 per pair. Here's the "x-rated" version of what you'll actually get, 13" and 7" for the bits that matter (mods feel free to edit if this is pushing the needle too far from the yellow into the orange):

Available in Tomato Red, Blue (limited) and no fill/black outline only (limited). Might do a batch on clear later, and 14.5" sizes maybe too, depends on cost and demand... these aren't being done at Kinkos Wink

Strictly speaking they are for '95-96 BMX frames being on chrome Mylar, but looing at the pics here it looks like everything 95-99 except 95 hardtails (looks like they use the 14.5" version) and perhaps the '98 All Mountain, but it might just be an optical illusion making that one look smaller. But again, these will have the Mylar/chrome outline as indicated on this first run. I need at least 5 confirmed orders to do a special run on clear, but the fill color wouldn't matter- I just have to get up over the print minimum.

Here's the NOS sample I used as the source so expect the same 'chrome' outline, also notice the S-C-H are not spaced apart like on the 14.5" version. I can have them made larger by request, but a purist will know the difference.
