Hey guys, I stumbled across a few of these lying in a bin somewhere and I can't be sure, but I think they might be for the homegrowns, but hey... that's why you guys are all here, right?
Not sure if those are for HG or not, but they may work if the slots fit the holes in the frame. I dug in my tool box and found these. They are slightly different for different chain rings. My 1997, 1999, and 2001 frames have threaded holes in the chainstay yolk for the anti-chain suck plates. They may be on different years, but that's all the years I have. I thought about putting them on but haven't had an issue with chain suck.

OP, yours look like the chainsuck devices for Trek OCLV frames.

That makes way more sense! Thanks so much, I hate not knowing what something is.
Cheers!

This came stock on some mountain bikes in the 90s, speaking of in restoring one and would love to buy this from you...
The ones I have are for the Trek OCLV, if that's what you want, I'll see if I have any left.
Cheers!
That's exactly what I need, I'm rebuilding a 1995 OCLV
Sweet, I'll look upstairs and get back to you.
Cheers!
Didn't have any luck in the workshop, but I'll keep looking.
Cheers!
I really appreciate it, let me know if you find anything, no pressure.
No luck. Checked everywhere I can think of. If I come across it again, I'll reach out.
Cheers!
