Saw this was blank - so here goes my memories from the items I recall, have owned or wished I'd owned.
Schwinn at the Interbike trade show had Homegrown thermometers, T-shirts many different styles, a sweatshirt etc.
They also had banners (large polyvinyl signs) that were issued to select shops.
I am in possession of a pair of homegrown cycling socks, red-white-blue with the USA tomato..
The T-shirts were in different years -- One was black with a shiny/bassboat silver, with the tomato saying Homegrown on it in cursive, the other was a white T, with the farmer & hoe farming tomatoes..
Other items were simple, waterbottles, the Selle Italia stiched seats ( I have 2, one used, one in brand new condition)
I believe they also had offered some other signage available to top-dealers/lbs
Signs and thermometer. The round sign is thin metal, the oval one is plastic, and the thermometer has a metal frame as well.

I'll get some better pictures once I get these set up in the new man cave.
Here is everything I have, that isn't a Homegrown bike. Wish I had a thermometer. I found one in a bike shop once, but the guy wouldn't give it to me, maybe I'll offer to buy it next time. The one thing I still really want is one of those Tomato Vine Jerseys.
Homegrown Hat:
Homegrown signs, top one has a broken stem, middle one is broken completely on the left, and the bottom one is perfect.
All my Homegrown Stickers, no, they are not for sale! I'm a sticker hoarder!
Homegrown T-Shirt:
Homegrown Long Sleeve Shirt:
NON-Homegrown stuff:
The rest of my Schwinn Stickers:
A sweet Sting Ray Jersey:
And a Sweet Sting Ray T Shirt:
That's all for now!
Hey, you dont happen to know the year of the metal flake stickers do you?
Eric
Wow
Those are exactly what I remember. Nice work on the collection of signage --
I know a LOT of local bike shop owners would horde these items hoping to one day turn a big profit on Ebay -- the days of ebay infancy --
That stuff is classic. Great job fellas
I Have the adjustable hat, I think I am going to take it to a place that I use to make hats for bands to see if i can get a flex fit hat with the homegrown logo on it because i hate adjustable hats. I just got a homegrown t shirt on ebay which was probly sold by some one on here. and I have one of the homegrown embroidered selle seats in perfect condition that is hanging on my wall next to my old schwinn bmx racing frame and other schwinn items.
Hey blue beetle, I have a similar black shirt, but mine has USA in the tomato on the front.
I was wearing that very shirt on a ride that caused the accident which put me in the ER. The bike in question was the 1995 red and black sweet spot. I sold the bike after the accident. The next buyer rode the bike for about a week until the frame cracked. Schwinn sent him a 19" Homegrown FS (his request) with bass boat green front and polished rear. I was bummed for myself but happy for him. Then guess what..... He took the brand new frame, stripped the bass boat green paint, and had the whole thing painted black. The guy was a lawyer and had the money to get it done professionally and it did look good, but man.......Bass Boat Green.....
Oh yeah, I still have the scar.

i got this sweet steal of a deal on ebay about a year or so ago.
The VINE JERSEY!!
to bad its to small for me.

i wouldn't mind trading for a homegrown hat though.....I used to have one but I lost because I was a stupid teenager at the time. Now I'd kill for it back.
i just got this sweet hat for 20 bucks, that included shipping. I didn't even know they made this in green.
I had a HG factory 4-banger t-shirt. just threw it away last week. It served me well.
I have a jersey, a few sparkly oval plastic signs, a black round tomato sign, a thermometer and I enjoy them all. I also have a few embroidered navy blue tomato hats I want to get out of the closet.
