I also bought this bike last fall, but I never got to ride it (see my other post for a homegrown full suspension).  However, this frame is also too big of a frame for me.

The guy I bought it from pulled nearly all of the factory parts off it, and it became a project bike.  The brakes were shot (handle bar clamps were broken).  So i upgraded to Deore Brakes, not realizing the Rotors would not reach.  So I had to by adaptors, but the adaptors were not correct.   So I am giving up on the brakes.

NOTE: There are no actively working disk brakes on this, but as soon as someone throws a pair od 6inch rotors on this, and a front fork adaptor for the caliper, this will work perfectly.

The original frame was modded out to accomodate longer travel fork, and the disk brakes.  Carbon rear triangle shows no signs of damage or cracks.

In the end, this was a waste of money for me due to the time and the parts that had to go into this to get it working correctly.  Also, the frame is just too big for me.

I have tuned it up and it is shifting perfectly, but the brakes are the only problem child on this project bike.  The pedals are not included, these are just to use for any local-demo's.  I live in the Chicago land area, so local pickup is free.  Else within a 60 mile radius willing to drop it off.  All others, shipping by UPS/FedEx, which ever is cheaper.  Final shipping to be calculated after purchase and Zip Code is entered.

I am also selling this for a minimum of $500 to try and make some of money back.  It is worth more than that, but I am wiling to take a minimal loss on this.  More pictures available at request.  Willing to drive to Southwest Michigan next weekend as it is on my way to visit friends.

Yeah, I know... I posted it on ebay yesterday as well.  I'm hoping to clear $650-700 for it.

The shock is a standard threadless.  1-1/8 I think???  It's a manitou black, with 100/120mm adjustable travel, with manual lockout.
