Letting go of a few bikes to free up some $ for parts on the ones I ride more often.

1 )   1999 Homegrown Elite BBG 21” (frame only)  I bought this as a spare and never used it. Condition is very good to excellent.  Has the rear disk brake mounting points. My other 99 Elite does not.  ** $300 OBO**

    2)   1998 Factory XT 21” Blue/silver – (full bike) Bike is a solid rider that catches attention.  Frame has some chips here and there and some chain drag, but looks pretty great overall and sparkles nicely in the sun.  Reba Uturn fork (85-115mm with an easy dial turn), all XT components in very good shape, has misc updates over the years. Has clear paint protection un underside and under cables and some other areas prone to chipping.   I removed the Schwinn lettering as i preferred a cleaner look on the blue/silver. The other stickers are all in great shape. Rides great.    ** $600 OBO**

    3)   1998 Factory XT 19” Blue/Silver – (frame or full) This one is for a collector or someone who wants a very great condition yeti built Homegrown.  Frame sparkles brilliantly and there is only a few chips on this one. No chipping at all in many of the prone areas.  Schwinn lettering was removed for cleaner look. The other stickers are all there.  Some vintage race stickers which can all be removed (ELS sticker if funny).  I built this bike up with NOS XT components that are in like new condition (see tires, wheels, etc for wear. all the stickers that fall off after a few rides are there, tires have little rubber nubs on them, etc).   I wanted to chase the BB threads to clean out any grease or dust prior to installing BB and life got in the way and didn’t get to borrow the tool to do it yet. I can do if needed for buyer, have to swing by a LBS.   Has a SID World Cup Carbon backbox tech w/ remote lockout.  This is NOS, fully working in excellent condition. Can go with the bike or not as it’s kind of a specific fork to want for extreme light weight.    ***  Frame only $550  / price with components $750 / price with fork (make offer)  ***  OBO

I am in Northwestern Connecticut near the NY and MA border. I also drive to Cape cod frequently and can meet someone in those areas to avoid shipping charges if helpful.  Otherwise I do have bike shipping boxes and will pack for free and charge whatever the shipping company rate is.

I have much higher res photos and videos. The file size limit here you loose a lot of the sparkle that makes this bikes look so amazing!

You don’t think that the larger size (after you click on the picture in the post) accurately represents the sparkle in these frames?
It’s pretty much impossible to adequately capture that in a photo regardless, even on the ’97s, but what sort of resolution/file size would you like?

The photos on my phone look good. Ones on site are a little less detail. My point is just that the frames look better in person or I can share a video / photo in higher res to a discerning buyer.

Didn’t get any interest so i am lowering prices.

Got it, was just curious. I think anybody that’s a serious buyer knows that photos don’t do these justice. Good luck with the sales!

I am very interested in the green frame. It’s beautiful. If you still have it after christmas, let me know. I have PM’ed you.

    Thanks happy holidays

Hi all, an update as I have received a few messages to this somewhat old thread.  The bikes have been sold to some nice HG collectors.  Wish you all best of luck looking for your next gem.
