I know this isn’t a Homegrown, but a close cousin. This is my son’s birthday present. Used 2001 frame and rebuilt SID but pretty much everything else NOS or new. 952 XTR shifters and derailleurs, XTR hubs laced to Mavic 717 rims and IRC Mythos tires, Used Monkeylite carbon bars, Thomson post and stem with tomato cap, Avid Elixir 7 brakes, Shimano Saint platform pedals, a cool tomato seatpost clamp and Homegrown skewers.
Sweet ride. Lucky son!
Is it me but it seems the Giant Maestro suspension design seems very similar to the Rocket 88 design. I also felt that the Giant Maestro was a close cousin to the 4- banger. The difference was the length of the rocker arms with the 4- banger being a lot longer.
I am going to have to check that Giant out.
