MemberI have a 99 Homegrown Elite in Bass Boat Green. Three of my friends have the same bike. They all have done or are thinking about doing rear disc conversions. So I went outside to look at mine and I did a double take. Mine does NOT have the extra bump with the two holes for a optional rear disk brake. . . .
The 99 catalog shows/mentions that the BB Green Elite has this mount, and all my friends have it.
Does anyone know of a 99 Elite that is missing this mount?? is my frame some sort of mistake?? lol

MemberI would like to add that even below there is a post someone did about a 99 Elite that they show photos of the mount for a disk brake set up.
Where is mine>?>

Member… if I remember correctly, another member here in the forum mentioned, in that period when they were sold they used for the production whatever frames they had left, even frames from 1998. Anybody to confirm? Anybody? Bueller?
😉
Btw: I have the disc adaptors for the extra bump with the two holes …

Memberhmm- interesting, is there anyway to tell by the serial number if the bike was a leftover from 98 that was just painted and built to be a 99?
