    The outside diameter is too big- trying to press it in I am concerned it would crack the frame- it’s that much bigger. I have a friend who is a machinist, I will ask him if he could take the OD down a bit. The outside flange is also thicker but I don’t think that will be an issue. The bushing will have to be cut off to be the correct size but should not be a problem either.
    If that doesn’t work then I will contact John Castellano.

    So I did order the bearings from McMaster but the O.D is too big, these are too thick to fit into the pivot hole. I am concerned that really forcing them in will crack the frame.
    I cleaned the the old ones and the tube as best I could, lubricated with slick Honey and reassembled. The creaking continues…
    Any other suggestions?
