Interested in some project underground decals if that ever becomes an option.

Hopefully not too late. I’ve been waiting to hear back on this since shortly after Interbike. Trying to get this going again. Love your bike.

Oddly enough, this is a good time for an update anyway…

I was getting ready to let you guys know that my contact had apparently bailed on me, but he’d apparently been sick and then traveling. He got back in touch with me today so I should have info (good or bad) by end of this week.

John, so what was the info? Good or bad? 😉

Funny you should ask, I just saw a picture of the proof about 15 minutes ago. They exist! Right now only ’98-’99, possibly more to come. No idea on timing or price-my source is checking fittment tomorrow. Will update as new info comes in.

HOLY COW I’m in for at least a couple of sets if this happens. If they’re the full color waterslide type decals, I’d be willing to pay a PREMIUM for a couple of sets.

I know the first batch were going to be something along the lines of die cut vinyl to avoid some of the problems with the water transfer decals, though obviously not 100% correct. Will see if there’s an option to do water transfer also.

The decals exist! Only for ’98-’99 currently. They are on ebay; this isn’t an affiliate link, I’m not the seller, and I’m not getting a portion of the proceeds. Any questions should be directed to the seller.

I bought 2 sets of those decals and they were spot on compared to my wife’s 99 Homegrown Pro. Not many takers on the popular auction site.

I just got a set and put them on. They’re sweet–the colors are great and the vinyl is way thicker than the original decals.

Doesn’t look like the guy has sold many decals. For all the people screaming for them you woulda thought he would be sold out.

Anyone know where to source Schwinn downtube decals for a 2000 Homegrown? Seems like there are some aftermarket Tomato’s for the top tube out there but haven’t seen any Schwinn replacements.

A situation has arisen with my Charlie Sheen “WINNING!” bumper stickers I do in a font surprisingly familiar to most of us. Unforeseeable “printing errors” led to a misspelling, so I will be liquidating stock… as soon as I know how many of these “errors” will occur, and in which colors.

There have also been reports of a tornado striking the central printing offices of the USGS, and self-adhesive notation devices used to denote the exact centralized location of earthquakes have been seen falling from the sky… strangely in pairs.
