It’s been a while and I thought I’d post up some pics of my current project. It’s a 1996 Factory Fullie serial number 1.
I’m currently building it into a XC machine running an XTR 1×11 drivetrain and a Manitou MRD fork.
It’s NOS. The decals are super dry so I’ll be replacing the graphics, but the frame and shock are all brand new. What luck!
That’s pretty awesome. How did you end up with that bike?
Just really excellent timing. I noticed it on Ebay and I think everybody else just overlooked it because there’s a bunch of frames for sale right now. This one just happened to be in my size.
Well not sure what to do about this, but turns out the frame is a size too large for me…
There’s definitely something to be said for timing. Sorry about the frame size, though. I’d be all over it if I wasn’t in the same size boat as you.
It’s all good; fortunately I picked it up on the cheap so no big loss. I’ma tuck it away until I grow three inches. 🙂
