I recently got a ’99 Homegrown, factory catalog says it came with 26×1.95 tires. Anyone know what tire sizes you can get away with?
Thanks

I’ve run 2.25 with no problem at all. You may have to squeeze the tire through your brakes.
I usually run 2.1, but have room to go fatter.
Thanks for the help, trying to get this basket case back on track.
Also can be somewhat brand dependent, since different tire companies (and even different companies’ models) seem to use a different definition of an inch.
I’ve had a 2.4 on the back with no clearance issues, and a 2.4 on the front with a cm of room.
