Schwinn Homegrown Model Identifier › Forums › General Stuff › Homegrown Talk › My family room wall art
Just wanted to share my family room art. Upper left is my Project Underground, the upper right is my 87 Paramount, lower left my wife’s 99 HG Pro, and the lower right my wife’s Specialized Roubaix (non Schwinn sorry)
Oh man looking good. Don’t see too many of those blue Undergrounds. I think you had to have a super industry hookup back in the day to score one.
Took me 6 years of looking for that frame to pop up. I probably paid a little too much but I really wanted one and that one was mint.
I’ll have to find the picture of my 97 Factory frame on the mantle. Happened to be the home decor at the time and our wedding photographer thought that was ridiculous.

Well I ain’t tacky enough to ask what you paid, but if you think about the fact that these are all made by hand with super high end materials in the USA and they ain’t makin’ anymore, it’s probably a downright bargain compared to anything you’d find made by some robot (overseas) today selling for tons of money.
The bass boat paints elevate them to the next level. I’m actually really surprised that a Giant or Trek hasn’t co-opted the paint job. I bet it’s too expensive to do in volume.

Well, I don’t got a mantle.
*BRAVO*
Hat’s off to you, sir.
Nice.
I’m tacky enough to talk price. PM’d you.
