I do not have calipers and my seat post has been cut off and is too short. Anybody know the seat post size/offset for a 1998 HG Factory?

26.8mm seat post. Unsure of offset.

Thanks Jeff,
Yes that is exactly the post I have now. The adjustment knob on the top of mine is very difficult to turn and the nose wants to rise as I tighten the bolt underneath. PIA!!

Thanks for the size! I went to my LBS and ordered a post in black.
