1999 Schwinn Homegrown Factory Full Suspension in Bass Boat Blue.
    $400 + Shipping
Located in Northern California Bay area.
The Aluminum 6061 frame measures 17″ from Center of BB to top of seat post tube (where the clamp is.)

Thanks to a helpful Ebayer it was brought to my attention that this frame was marketed as a
15″ frame that has a standover of 27.3 and a top tube length of 20.9″.
    as opposed to the
17″ frame that will have a standover of 28.7 and a top tube length of 22″.
The difference is the top tube on this frame has more of a slant and there is a gusset where the top tube and seat post tube meet.
These differences can be compensated for by a longer stem.

This frame is good for a person with shorter legs or female anatomy with a shorter torso.

A very hard to find true Small/Medium size Frame!

In good condition with low miles. The bike had been a wall hangar in a LBS for many years, I bought the bike from the shop owner who had closed his business down. I took the bike with me on a 4×4 trip last summer and the frame rubbed on the headache rack and was deeply scarred on the top tube (as seen in pictures.) Ugly, but frame is still fully functional. Some of the components are a mix as I recently bought another frame and used some off of this bike.

Here is what is on this bike now:
Original Rock Shox Judy Long Travel front shocks in good working condition at present, but may need servicing in the future- (they are, after all, from 1999…)
Pro Design red handlebars (no grips)
Kore Stem with Chris King Headset
Deore LX V- brakes and shifters F&R
    Shimano XT Front derailler
    Deore rear derailler
Shimano aftermarket front Chain rings with bash guard
    Rock Shox rear Spring shock
    Mavic 220 rims
Shimano Deore HB M563 Parallax front hub
    Shimano Silent Clutch Rear hub
    9 Speed Shimano cassette
Bottom bracket spins smoothly and free
    WellGo type platform pedals
Ardent Maxxis 2.2 tires in VG condition
New brake and shifter cables and just tuned up.
I would recommend changing the seat post tube, as it is pretty short and poorly cut.

    Frame Serial # 99HB000034
    URT Triangle Serial #98BHR01316

These bikes have a short history, were only made from 1997-2001 here in the USA when Schwinn succeeded in putting out these top quality Pro competition mountain bikes. The full suspension frames were designed by John Castellano who later went on to design bikes for IBIS; the 1st version of the Ripley, Bow Ti and Silk Ti. John is still manufacturing and designing bikes today- and an avid cyclist!

That’s a shame about the top tube. Good luck with your sale.

    Hi Jeff,
Yeah, real bummer for cosmetics.. It still is a nice bike and should fit S-M riders.
