Schwinn Homegrown Model Identifier › Forums › The Shop › For Sale/Trade › My Daily Rides: Anyone interested?
At some point soon… After 20 years with these bikes, we may be parting ways. I ride 2-3 times a week with one, or both, of these Schwinns, depending on my mood. Thought I’d post my friends here before putting them on CL. I am not selling either one immediately, but wanted to see if there might be interest when I finally do get my next ride. Don’t really know if I can actually give them up, but am looking to get something with a dropper and disc brakes. Maybe a Santa Cruz Chameleon or a TallBoy.
17″ Geared: 2×9 with XT, Control Tech Bars/Stem, and SID.
19″ Single Speed with Easton Bars/Stem, and Long Travel Rock Shox.
NOTE: XT Pedals on 17″ will be replaced with a generic clipless set. Saddles are not included. I will give a choice of a Schwinn Saddle, or two others to the buyer. Keeping the SDGs… 2.4 Continental tyres on the 17″ will also be replaced prior to sale with 2.3 Continental Verticals.
Thanks.
I may be interested in one or both. Preferably frame only to reduce cost for me, unless you are unloading them super cheap.
Do both frames have the Hayes 22mm disc mounts?
I have been out of the loop for awhile, but your bikes caused me to jump back in. Look great!!
Thanks,
Both have the Hayes 22mm disc mounts.
I just sent you a private message with my number.
Give me a call, and we can connect.
Thanks.
FYI, HG-4EVR did sell me the 19″ frame/fork and it worked out fabulously.
He’s a good and honest seller.
The 19″ frame is the same one I converted to 700c.
Thanks…
The 17 inch is still for sale. : )
Does the 17″ have a lock out on the fork?
