livernoseParticipantGood luck with those. Rich Adams reproducted the whole set, which included those decals, a few years ago. He may have a few extras left.

MemberThese decals and the down tube decals were the only ones that were not clear coated over. The bike has few miles on it but in storage over the years the decals have flaked off.

livernoseParticipantWhen I clean up frames I like nice decals too. Good luck in your search.

MemberThank you. The frame is virtually new and untouched. Collecting bikes I put some up and didn’t ride them. Decided to dust them off and start enjoying them. Would just like to restore the bad decals.

Member‘ello gents. I’ve got a few decals leftover from my time with CSG when they shut down Bedford. I’ll search for these ones next time I’m up in the attic.
Cheers!

tomatoadminKeymasterPretty cool that you got to save some decals. Not so cool that you were there when they shut down Bedford. When I was with Zipp I worked with Bud K a fair amount and it sounded like a pretty depressing time.

MemberBud was a seriously good dude. I learned a LOT about materials and their failures from him. Not sure what ever came to pass for him once he went to Q. I’ve still got one friend up there in Minni, perhaps I should follow up.
Being at Bedford was a great time for me, but I never knew it in the glory days. I worked with a guy nicknamed ’84 since that was when he started. So he had seen all of the ups and downs over 30 years.
Cheers!

MemberAlas, no luck on these decals. I found a bunch of the tiny epicenters, a random air ram and then a handful of these for the side of the top tube. FYI, image not mine.

tomatoadminKeymasterBud’s a sharp dude. Helped us out a ton and didn’t even call me a dumbass (to my face, at least). Last I heard he’s still at Q.
Are the top tube decals you have exactly like the ones in the picture or do you have any of the homegrown factory ones? I also might be in for epicenter decals depending on which ones they are.

MemberI have *one* that reads “homegrown factory” same color, font, etc. Maybe I’ll get some pictures up if I find some time over the holidays when I’m not being nagged to death over decorations.
Cheers!
