Hello. I have the 1999 homegrown 4-banger and love that bike to death. It’s getting to the point where I almost don’t want to ride it anymore in case I get into a bad crash, the bike will be damaged forever.

Anyways, I was wondering if other owners has the squeaky pivot thing going on with their bikes. It seems to be coming from the carbon swing arm to the shock bushing. I tried greasing the thing, but it keeps on coming back. I remember there used to be a thin plastic washer like material that went inbetween the swingarm and the shock bushing. Was that thing the key to a silent pivot. Any recommendations for a fix?

Here is a pic of my steed. Got the frame from Supergo and recently updated the front fork from a 1999 Marzocchi Z1 Alloy to a 2010 Fox Float RL. I had to buy a new Hayes G2 caliper since my old caliper was the old RS design and had a 7 inch rotor.
