I thought ya’ll might like to know that an online vendor of bike stuff, icyclesusa.com, currently is selling these for the blowout price of $1.59. You have to click on the left hand column on “Recession Specials” items.

(I hope this doesn’t break any forum rules about commercial vendors mentioned.)

i am scroungin together the parts for a 50th birthday gift (TO ME !!!)

i’m buildin up a black anodized frame as a 1×8 flyweight xc bike

i plan to leave it without any decals (it never had any, i think)

black rims, crank, fork, bars, grips,…

well, you get the idea

the black ‘mater topcap will be the only clue

can anybody help an old man out?
