After 8 great years of use, my Homegrown 4 Banger All Mountain had some squeaking in the rear during my last ride. I found that the lower swing-arm cracked at the bearing assembly by the BB. This is one of those clamp areas and although I was checking frequently I have no clue when it broke. Anyone have parts or ideas to fix? I’m hoping there is someone out there that has the answers.

I would tend to think to look for another 4-banger frame from the same year.  Is your’s a 2000?  I doubt a repair in that area would be a wise thing.

Replace the swingarm. Been there, done that. 🙁
