ParticipantYep, I’m the one that got it off ebay. Pretty strange frame, but you know me, I like the odd ones. I’ve never seen one with the short white stripe. And I’ve only seen the Easton badge on 95 frames. (I haven’t seen very many 95 frames though) Plus, the Bass Boat Blue is pretty dark, not the lighter brighter color usually seen on pre-98 BBB. Also from my best judgement, the ‘Homegrown Factory’ decal was only applied to the left side, I can’t find any trace of it on the right. But it just may have been very well removed.

The only serial I can find is on the inside of the left dropout, HS6485.
I’m going to call it a 96 for now.

MemberI think you have a 99 homegrown pro! that someone added stickers and decal to.

KeymasterI’d be fairly confident that it’s not a ’99 as the chainstay yoke is definitely forged and not extrduded, plus that’s a dead ringer for a Yeti-frame in other areas. I’d guess it’s a ’97ish Yeti-made Factory that got re-sprayed with some creative decal usage. The only place I’ve seen the green Homegrown Factory logos is in the beginning of the ’97 Catalog on the full suspension frames shown in the action shots (but not actually on the model pages).
Regardless, it’s a sweet ride.

MemberYou have a “Factory”, but it is repainted. My 1998 Factory red/gold had a canti stop, but my 1998 Factory blue/silver (Thanks John) does not. I see the taper in the seat stays, but I can’t see from the pics if they are two-pieces welded at the top, or a single bent tube. The Factory will have the extra weld. Also, your cable stops are at the 2 o’clock position (not on top) so its’ gotta be pre 1998. Looks great to me.

MemberLooks like an original paint job. Early on the bass boat blues. You can see the head tube rub mark down to the black base coat. Someone put new stickers on it though. I think its a 96. Do you still have it?
