black topcap for x-mas ???

kinda repeating myself some, but in my own thread

i’m buildin up a black anodized frame as a 1×8 xc bike

i plan to leave it without any decals (don’t think it ever had any)

black rims, crank, bashguard, fork tubes/lowers, bars, stem, grips,cables,…

…you get the idea

i have actually seen a black ‘mater cap once (in person)

the black ‘mater topcap will be the pie’ce de re’sistance

or maybe i will have to have one done by the folks who make custom engraved ones

(is there even anybody left to sue me for copyright issues?)

I don’t think you have anything to worry about being sued 😀  Let me go to my check my Homegrown memorabilia stash.  I remember one floating around.  Don’t get your hopes up, I’m just saying I’ll check the stash.  I’ll post back tomorrow.  My family is coming to my house for Xmas so I can’t hide in the garage this evening.  Wish I could.  Ha.  Later, Eric.

Sorry it took me so long.  I had no luck finding a black tomato top cap.  Keep up the search, or commission one to be made.  I like the blackout idea your going for.  Sounds mean.
