Hi all,
Hi all,
Just found the blog after doing some research. I’m going to be trading my custom-built dirt jumper that I built about 4 years ago for a 1999 Schwinn HG Elite that was bought new in 01 and ridden for a season and a half, then sat until now. Trades goin down saturday, so I figured I would peruse some threads here to see what I could find. The current owner is proclaiming that it is Yeti-welded but I haven’t pressed him on more info about it. It is bass boat green (sweet), but I received some pics and noticed the bonus tomato decal, which indicates that it is not yeti-welded, according to the FAQ posted here.
Pics forthcoming,
P
Welcome to the “cult” and congrats on the bike!
I really like the cool bassboat green…however, the Elite is made from 6061 aluminum (my understanding is that Yeti only did the work on HGs made from 7005 Easton aluminum). It is still an awsome bike and still very light.
