Mine got replaced for a cracked downtube. The one I picked up on ebay is cracked on the rear part where the pivot bolts are looks like from over tightening

So I got the rear end polished up which took a lot longer than expected  😆
I also decide I couldn’t put the horrible brake bosses back on so bought some ti ones.

I cleaned up the forks and rear shock. Got some 97 sl’s instead of the 96 ones in the mock up. These have total air carts in them.

I then decided the judy crown needed to be polished to match the rear end.
    So some more wet sanding.

And after a polish. Need to finish rebuilding these next.

Finally my Crossmax’s turned up today think these should suit it nicely

So after the mock up build I did the other night on the sweet spot I decided I needed to strip it back down and clean everything. Wet flatted the back end down ready to polish. This is it before

And after sanding with 180, 320, 600, 1200, 2000 and a scotch pad for the welds.
    Should be mirror polished tomorrow

I could just be the rear end was made in 1998. I know that you start getting next years bikes before the end of the year also.

These are still being done. Unfortunatly it seems I’ve choosen the slowest supplier ever.

The up side is the mock ups I’ve seen were perfect. Cool

Its not a homegrown. Maybe an S9five, looks like a steel front end. Good luck with the sale
