Thanks very much for the info, it is very useful. I already bought the bike, it was neglected for many years, but the paint was in surprisingly good condition. Everything else on the bike other than the frame & swing arm is trash. I recognized the frame as an early homegrown design and plan to rebuild it using new/used components. Should be significantly better than new and I’ll have a sweet little vintage mountain bike when I’m done. I have already stripped it down except the swing arm pivot bearings, I can not get them out ! You say they are threaded in ? That would explain a lot, I was getting ready to take it to a machine shop and have them pressed out. I would like to be absolutely sure beforehand.
