MemberI’ve been looking for a 19″ for my son. We’ll be in SunRiver next month… You want to go riding? he could test it for fit.

Memberyou saw that too? I came here to find out. It looks legit, but the seller is not a HG expert i.e.: “year is a 2002 or 2003” It’s a 2001, the only year they had IS standard disc brake tabs on the seat stays. Don’t worry, Im not bidding.

MemberHayes “Mag” (Magnesium? Magnum? Magnemite?) anyway the rear caliper is VERY hard to find. Last one I saw on ebay with hose and lever sold for about $100.

Member.. and shipped. Hope to see it here in it’s new incarnation soon. Hefty is talking about a 1×9, which I think will be an awesome bike. Considered that myself, but went to a more all mountain geometry and suspension travel for my next bike. It will be great to see as a 1×9.

MemberAttached photo is before the fork upgrade. It shows the old SID, now gone. Also, the Schwinn downtube decals were chippng/peeling: cleanly removed with compressed air. I’ll get some better photos for interested parties.

MemberIs this the one on ebay right now, the one I’m bidding on? I’m looking for a 20-21 inch FS frame for a friend with a great kit on a crap frame. If I don’t get the one on Ebay (which is listed as a 98 but is killer-tomato red and I’m not sure if that was a 98 color) I’d like to talk about your frame.

Memberwith a Genesis by Risse. It was over $200 shipped, but I feel it was worth it. Great to work with and they shipped almost instantly.

Love your bike. Thinking of upgrading to a black manitou, so yours shows me what this would look like. This was before I found a NOS Hayes mag22 and put discs on both ends. That was what showed the weakness of the front fork.fastboy143
MemberI think I’d pay, or recommend a friend to pay, up to about $700 for that bike. If I could afford that, I would offer it. I ride a 98 Factory Suspension, and that HT would be a nice addition and complement to it.

MemberI’ve referred more than one in the last few weeks for information when they ask me about my “wal-mart bike with an XT/XTR kit?”
