ParticipantUpdate, I was able to fit my XT calipers on, but required a bit of filing on both the chainstay and the actual bracket to get it to sit flush, and also be at the right angle.

ParticipantAck, I’m a bit scared now. :/ Here’s the angle of my Homegrown… Hopefully that’s enough clearance to fit..

Also, looking at your pics, it looks like my 2000 may have enough clearance. Either way I’ll give it a try, and report back!

ParticipantWould those work with the rotors that came with the old Hayes (I think they’re 6″ / 160mm), or do I need to size down? Also, aside from the BR-RS505 that the OP has used, has anyone had success with SLX / XT / XTR calipers? Thanks!
