Thoze are some the guy made up recently designed more like a BMX jersey. I got 4 of those for everybody in the family.
There was a guy that designed a Homegrown jersey that was awesome. I bought one for myself, my son, and my daughter. He got a pre order and they went quick.
Dan Shust the owner emailed me and told me that he was putting the tomato cap on his site and to point people in his direction. Plus the price is better than I thought with all the colors available. $12.99 each
Nice to see some vintage Homegrowns are still out there racing. What might be some of the comments you get from guys with the newer bikes?
I believe they came on the 2000 and 2001, but not sure. My wifes 98 HG Pro came with one just like the pictured clamp but without the tomato. John might know what years they came on. I can tell you there were 2 slightly different sizes. I have an 01 Limited, and my son has an 01 black anodized Factory and those clamps were slightly smaller than the HGs with the painted frames. I know that because an 01 Rocket 88 frame I bought came with a tomato clamp and it was ever so slightly larger in clamp size than the one I finally found for my gold anodized Limited frame. I put it on my Limited frame and tightened the clamp all the way and it didn’t clamp the seat post securely. I found a guy on this site that had a tomato clamp that was slightly too tight for his painted frame and we ended up swapping and it worked out for both of us.
I would love to be able to source some of the original style seat post clamps and find someone to laser etch the little tomato on them.

Well it all sounds good. Marginal price increase makes no difference to me, so however it works out easiest, and definitely still in for multiples of each color.I don’t think Schwinn made them in blue, but it’d look great as a finishing touch on a bass boat.

The guy has the artwork now, so he advised he can make more, but the price will be more than the ones we’re getting now. I think they are $16 each, but not sure.
I’ll let you know when I receive them. The guy still has to make them and ship them to me. He sent the photo to me to get my approval before making them. The one on the left is the original.
