tomatoadminKeymasterInteresting. I just tried this on my regular user test account and though I’ve got the options in the text editor here it doesn’t actually post. Sorry, guys. I’ll see what’s what.
EDIT: and now it’s there. Will look into it.
EDIT 2: and now it’s not. 🤔
EDIT 3: was stuck in auto-moderate for some reason…
tomatoadminKeymasterRich Adams on the Facebook group for Schwinn Homegrowns used to have some decal sets made from the original artwork. I don’t know if he’s still got any and didn’t see them on ebay just now.
tomatoadminKeymasterTony,
Sorry for the delay. The site is not set up to queue things for moderation prior to posting so I’m not quite sure what happened. It looks like it may have been an issue with trying to post before the account was fully created, where it’s set up not to post due to SPAM (though I should still have gotten a notification, which didn’t happen). I see you got it posted successfully now though; good luck with the sale. There should be a link to contact me; I need to figure out why that’s not showing up for everyone. Thanks for letting me know.
Otherwise if anyone else finds this it’s tomatoadmin at bonustomato dawt com.April 15, 2025 at 6:56 pm in reply to: Homegrown Converted to 700c with new alternate Hayes 22mm Adapter #6987
tomatoadminKeymasterIf you actually have a 2001, you can use modern disc brake calipers (non-flat mount), so you really don’t need this (and it won’t actually mount to your frame). Click here to view the different models and confirm yours (note: not all colors are pictured).

tomatoadminKeymasterEven if it’s just waterjet, setup will kill you on one-off stuff (at least from my experiences).
If you can wait, it can save literally hundreds. Otherwise there’s the shapeways option posted earlier. I sent Mitch your email, regardless.August 9, 2024 at 6:05 pm in reply to: Homegrown Converted to 700c with new alternate Hayes 22mm Adapter #6864
tomatoadminKeymasterIf you legitimately have a 2001 frame with IS tabs, like this, as an example, why do you want to put flat mount brakes on it? Plenty of options for post mount brakes with an adapter like the Shimano SM-MA90-R160P/S, as an example.
EDIT: missed the part about 650b, but this adapter is intended for earlier frames with the “Hayes” 22mm disc mounts, not the 2001 frames with IS tabs.

tomatoadminKeymasterDone, Mitch has email. Haven’t been able to fix messaging yet but maybe this week I’ll have some time for it…

tomatoadminKeymasterSorry, direct/private messaging isn’t working at the moment, or easy image/file attachments to posts. 🤦♂️
Working on it…May 28, 2024 at 2:27 am in reply to: Homegrown Converted to 700c with new alternate Hayes 22mm Adapter #6817
tomatoadminKeymasterYeah, sorry Dylan. I thought I had everything but there were a few manual migration items that I apparently missed.

tomatoadminKeymasterThanks for putting this together; any thoughts on the questions I had below?
You should now be able to upload the most common file types for this sort of thing also. *drinks*September 25, 2023 at 2:01 pm in reply to: Homegrown Converted to 700c with new alternate Hayes 22mm Adapter #6472
tomatoadminKeymasterVery cool, Dylan. Sorry I’m late to the party but I was interested in the dimensional differences you selected relative to 737’s mix. To sum up, it looks like the differences are:
- 737’s bracket is 7mm tall and yours is 5mm
- The slotted holes in your part are offset 4mm in the x direction relative to 737’s part
- Your slots are offset 1.5mm in the y direction while 737’s are offset .55mm.
Not that I doubt anything either of you have done; I’m just trying to make it all make sense and know that all frames are going to be a bit different thanks to the bike biz’s “standards” and manufacturing “tolerances.”

tomatoadminKeymasterYeah, Sally Beauty Supply (if they’re still around) or even Walmart or Target have worked for me…

tomatoadminKeymasterGot it, was just curious. I think anybody that’s a serious buyer knows that photos don’t do these justice. Good luck with the sales!
