tomatoadminKeymasterThough that link has 68×118 in it, the page it took me to was a 73×113, which would be correct.
Can’t help you on the fork, though.
tomatoadminKeymasterThere were quite a few Homegrown models in black so it’s tough to say without a picture. Here’s the 1999 that would fit your description.
Otherwise look here: https://bonustomato.com/frame-color/black
Note that the pictures are from the catalog, and not all colors were shown.

tomatoadminKeymasterLook at you, showing off your 3D printing and digital calipers.
Some of us have to remember how to use our Granddad’s vernier calipers every time we go to use them…

tomatoadminKeymasterI don’t have any design-Eric has one but he’s been selling the adapters, not his design.
I’d also be a bit concerned about any machinist that’s quoting you pricing for this if you haven’t shown them a concrete design.February 5, 2021 at 2:19 pm in reply to: Homegrown Converted to 700c with new alternate Hayes 22mm Adapter #6051
tomatoadminKeymasterIt should be identical, as they were both using the Hayes “standard.”
That said, nothing is ever standard in the bike industry. I don’t have a frame with that mount so can’t measure mine, but here’s a CAD model from one of the engineers. The dx value is the perpendicular distance, which is what I assume you were trying to measure.
tomatoadminKeymasterSuch sparkle. Much pretty. Almost as nice as mine.

Good luck selling it!

tomatoadminKeymasterIf you have some pictures you can upload that will definitely help. If it’s a 2000, it’s not a standard 1-1/8″ headset, it’s the ICBM headset.
Also, I hate to say it, but your price is fairly high relative to what they’re going for these days.

tomatoadminKeymasterMaybe, I think some people (like me) definitely favor the 97 BBB over the 99, which (to me) was much less sparkly. I don’t know that it makes much difference. The SID was definitely a later fork but I wouldn’t put much stock into that. The 99 frame did have 22mm disc brake mounts, which yours does not.

tomatoadminKeymasterJeff’s correct. If you look in the 97 catalog under “Catalog scans” you’ll see a few pictures of it. There’s a few decal variants (in terms of color).
The 1997 and 1999 frames were identical anyway. Here’s the 1997 model page:

tomatoadminKeymasterA lot of minty fresh goodness there. Good luck with the sale.
August 25, 2020 at 12:05 pm in reply to: For Sale: NOS 1999 Schwinn Homegrown Pro, XTR/XT SID LT 17″? #5944
tomatoadminKeymasterWow, that thing is MINT!
I do think the $1200 SS build was quite an outlier on price, though I hope you get a good amount for your organization.
tomatoadminKeymasterThanks, Deerab. You got me motivated to finally solve that issue. *good*
tomatoadminKeymasterKind of hard to say without knowing the condition of the fork or drivetrain. The frame looks pretty well used and isn’t as desirable as 2001s since it’s got the 22mm disc brake mounts. I’d say around $300, maybe 400 tops, to the right buyer. Ebay completed auctions (sold items) is a good way to see what things are selling for too.
tomatoadminKeymasterYeah, the certificate is current and on the server, but for some reason does not work on the main domain (and wasn’t before I started upgrade prep). It works fine on a test subdomain. Kind of beyond my expertise/time to learn right now.
tomatoadminKeymasterYou should be able to upload now. Sorry, somewhere in updating the site I apparently broke jquery. Now links to images are back and browsing to images works again.
Your call on the serial number…
