tomatoadminKeymasterYou are wanting maybe something like this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Schwinn-Homegrown-MTB-/131930531337?hash=item1eb7ac2609:g:S4wAAOSw-kdXzmtP
tomatoadminKeymasterGlad the Factory FS went to a good home. Definitely post pics!
tomatoadminKeymasterLooks to be at least a 19” frame. Did you measure center of BB to top of seat tube (that’s how these should be measured)? Geometry charts in catalog scans or individual model pages if you needd them.
Good luck with the sale-looks sweet.
tomatoadminKeymasterAll individual model pages now list disc compatibility and specify IS or 22mm as appropriate.
tomatoadminKeymasterYep, those are from the guy I was working with. Not sure if other years will still happen, but at least those are out there. I mentioned it elsewhere, but in case anyone cares, I’m not the seller and don’t get anything from the sales.
tomatoadminKeymasterI’d say we’re going to need some pictures of your bike. 😀

tomatoadminKeymasterI know the first batch were going to be something along the lines of die cut vinyl to avoid some of the problems with the water transfer decals, though obviously not 100% correct. Will see if there’s an option to do water transfer also.
tomatoadminKeymasterFrom my recollection they were quite similar, but I haven’t been able to find any pictures of the bike I had or something similar.
tomatoadminKeymasterI just remember the auction and debating whether or not to bid.
tomatoadminKeymasterVery cool to see the update. I was wondering what happened to that frame.
tomatoadminKeymasterThe only Yeti-made FS Homegrowns were the Straight 6/8 from ’97 (frame only, depicted in catalog but not listed as model and without price in dealer price list) through ’99. Otherwise, the only Yeti-made frames were the Homegrown Factory models during the same period.
Control Tech made the initial Project Underground (aluminum) frames and 1995 Homegrowns , while Anodizing, Inc. made the 6061 frames (like yours) from ’97-’99 and the “N’Lightened” Homegrowns for 2000-2001.
Schwinn actually provided the forged chainstay yokes used on the Yeti-made Homegrowns (and shared with Yeti ARCs) or the extruded yokes used on the Control Tech and Anodizing, Inc. frames.
Topkey made the thermoplastic Project Undergrounds as well as the All-Mountain URT Homegrowns with carbon front ends.

Former Schwinn test engineerWhile some of the details I’ve gotten from conversations with these guys differ a bit on quantities of various models or how many Homegrowns were made by each of the suppliers, they are all in agreement on the breakdown above. I’d certainly be eager to hear what you’ve found through your research, though.

tomatoadminKeymasterDon’t mean to burst your bubble, but that frame was made by Anodizing, Inc., not Yeti. Good luck with the sale.

tomatoadminKeymasterNow with more better pictures. Thanks for sharing!
tomatoadminKeymasterYou might get more interest and a better price if you uploaded some pictures. Click on the icon at the far right of what you see in the comment box and then you can upload multiple pictures (unfortunately you'll have to do it once for each picture).
