Message me directly Aaronjc28. I’d like to see pics of your frame offerings. FYI, I value my 19″ Factory frame above any other single frame so it would take a frame plus cash or multiple frames for just my 19″ frame only.
I’m getting 4 made. 2 will be silver plated steel, 1 gold plated steel and 1 stainless steel. Aluminum 3D printing is still too expensive to justify on such a small piece. Delivery to me will be Nov. 25 according to Sculpteo, so hold tight. I’ll message here again when they come in.
What a GREAT looking bike!! If I was in the market it would be mine. Your price is more than fair. Can I ask what city you are located in? I might consider a road trip if you’re close enough.

I have found that using Imgur for picture hosting is free and easy. You can upload pics to Imgur and make them Public or Hidden, then use the options to copy the HTML link to this forum.
Is your bike black with red darts? Those came either complete or as a frame only so it could have any type of build option on it.
Such a nice example!! I bought one of those too with an employee discount and it was still $2,400 back in the day. I was slightly disappointed when it showed up without the TOYOTA stickers on it, but I got over it. It looks as though you’ve only changed the tires!! Congrats on holding on to such a fine rig.

Great looking Homegrown!! 2001 was the only year to have the I.S. rear disc mounts too. 17″ is the perfect size for me…but I’m not in the market for another bike right now. My guestimate for value would be $500-$750. The Homegrown resale market isn’t what it used to be. Good luck with sale, and enjoy your retirement!!
You just need to remove the front derailleur to fit a 650b wheel/tire. I think you might be limited to 650bx2.1″ tread. These frames perform best with ~80mm forks IMO, so find a rigid fork with an axle to crown length of ~450mm. Your rear brake will have no problem with the 650b wheel.
You must have spent a fortune collecting NOS period correct parts for this bike. Great looking build, and the black SID fork looks much better than the blue version ever did.
What info are you looking for? It’s a 1999 model 4-Banger All Mountain made by Annodizing Inc. It has 4″ travel front and rear.
You are correct about it being a 1997 Homegrown LXT. It appears to be very big. What does it measure from the center of the bottom bracket to the to of the seat tube clamp? My guess would be 21″, making it an XL. Value? Sadly, not what they used to be. Maybe $250-$300 if you can find someone who wants that size.
The standard Homegrown’s were made from straight gauge 6061 Aluminum. The Homegrown Factory’s were made from Tapered Easton 7005 aluminum (from 1996-1998). I lost track of the changes when they went to ICBM headset design (1999 or 2000?). A 17″ Homegrown Factory frame weighs about 3lbs, white the 17″ Homegrown frame is about 3.5lbs. The Factory frames had a slightly cushier ride, but the brakes would really flex the seat stays in the rear. The Factory frames were the go-to choice for weight weenie builds. I had a complete Factory frame/bike with suspension fork, 3×8 drivetrain and knobby tires weighing in at 19lbs complete.
