livernoseParticipantI’ve got a SID front fork all rebuilt and ready to go and 9 speed shifters. Maybe even convert it to disc brakes.
livernoseParticipantI saw that one, and liked the frame and XTR crankset and rear derailleur too.
livernoseParticipantCasually looking for a nice factory Sweetspot with a 19” frame that isn’t all beat up. Bassboat paint would be nice.
livernoseParticipantI’ve got SID World Cups on my 2 Undergrounds. They are light and work well. Pretty much older SIDS on all my other Homegrowns too, except a 27.5 Manitou on my 01 Limited because I’m using 27.5 wheels. The SIDs are easy to service too.
livernoseParticipantI am interested in your preference between the Fox and SID.
livernoseParticipantI’ve alwys wanted a sweet spot, but I haven’t found the right one yet. I am getting ready to build a Rocket 88 frame I’ve got with XTR and Avid disc brakes. That will be the closest thing to a sweet spot so far.
livernoseParticipantCan’t have too many bikes. Great BD present!
livernoseParticipantBe sure to post some pictures when you get the HG.

livernoseParticipantThat’s a beautiful bike. Wish I could buy it, but I have way too many bikes right now.

livernoseParticipantWhat shiftersand brakes are you running?
livernoseParticipantToo bad. The price seemed good.
livernoseParticipantNot an expert on these but this one is in Denver. Not sure if you know anybody in Denver because the guy won’t ship. To me it looks like a 95 or a 96. http://denver.craigslist.org/bik/5671361289.html
livernoseParticipantI’ll keep an eye out.
livernoseParticipantThe N’lightened badge is on my 2001 Limited and my 2001 Fastback Limited. They are a cool badge. If you ever find a loose one for sale let me know. I would like to buy one and replace the one on my daughter’s 2001 Homegrown Pro. They are getting hard to find these days.
livernoseParticipantNo it was the caliper. I had a Avid Juicy 3 caliper with a 160mm rotor and the caliper wouldn’t fit. The seat stay was in the way. I used a different adapter.
