Christopher and I traded tomato clamps and it worked out for us both. My loose clamp works for him and his tight clamp works for me. Better having the clamps on bikes rather than sitting in a toolbox or drawer.

Took me 6 years of looking for that frame to pop up. I probably paid a little too much but I really wanted one and that one was mint.

I think it looks pretty cool. Always good to build with exactly every single part and bit you want. If it is for your GF I am surprised she went for that saddle. Must be the sparkles.

There’s a guy on the FB HG page named Christopher Berchin that says he has a tomato seat post clamp he says is too tight to use on any of his bikes and I’m thinking that’s the one I need. I made an offer to trade mine (that he could use on his bikes) or buy outright but no reply. He may have been pulling my leg. I don’t know.

I am unfamiliar with this approach. Exactly what would I need to order? And what is the website address? Your help is appreciated. I don’t want to do the aluminum foil thing because this is going to be ridden and I don’t want to fool around if the seat goes sideways during a ride.

Would the shim fit over the top of the seat tube? Because the only time I’ve used a shim is on the USE post on my BBB Factory and it inserted into the seat tube.
