I have a 2001 Limited I built as a 27.5. I used  Schwalbe  Thunder Burt 2.10 with enough clearance  in the rear to put a little fender on it to protect the frame. I used a Manitou 27.5 fork in the front and   didn’t like it. It sat the front end too high for my liking, so I switched back to a 2004 Rockshox SID. Designed for a 26″ wheel, but has enough clearance to run 27.5 tires on it.

Pretty cool. Can’t wait to see the whole thing. The blue  and  red ones I’ve seen from  that year look like the entire bike is painted BB silver with a color coat over that, leaving the silver by the head tube above the decal. Maybe that one skipped the  color  coat.

I’ve ordered from Velocals a few times and they seem to have quality decals. But be sure to give him the measurements you want. I’ve ordered from him before and the sizes were way off. He will reproduce them to your size specification but you have to request the sizes.

I recently ordered a Project Underground seat tube wrap and requested he leave off  the large circle around the “S” and leave the smaller  circle which made  the decal factory correct. Is it polished aluminum or painted silver? Either way it would be cool to see pictures.

Good luck with those.  Rich Adams reproducted the whole set, which included those decals, a few years ago. He may have a few extras left.

Not sure about the brake switch, but the noodle is  more than a 90 degree bend, I  don’t remember how  much more. If  you have a photo of your rear noodle set up to look at, please post.
