No worries, Jeff. Not a big deal at all.

It’s $8/month. Never intended the site to be a money-maker, and it’s not a big deal but it adds up. I know I could do ads but I hate them with a burning, firey passion. Looked at doing a premium member deal but not really sure how to make it worthwhile for people, especially with most people just posting on the Facebook page.
In the meantime, there is a paypal link at the top of the page, but no pressure. :drink:

Can do. Not going to make any timing promises though. 😀

Hey CJ, the main gallery was set up with adding this functionality in mind, I just haven’t been able to make the time yet. Would definitely be a nice thing to have and hopefully I’ll have some time as a couple work projects are wrapping up soon.

It wouldn’t be terribly difficult to do, like I said in my other post it’s mostly a matter of time. Like you noted, the site’s really not all that active, which also kind of hurts my motivation, but I know it’s a bit of a chicken-egg situation too. Honestly, I’ve been thinking of just taking it down lately, especially since I looked at what I’ve paid in hosting over the past 6 years.

What’s the error you get when trying to attach something?

Photos would definitely help. I’m possibly interested.

Owners’ manuals are/were geared toward all models and don’t have any specific info. Here’s the page for your bike on this site: http://bonustomato.com/models/2001-homegrown-comp-ht

You’ll need a standard 1-1/8″ (straight) steerer tube fork. The fork on the bike originally was 80mm travel but that’s pretty tough to find these days. You can go to a 100mm travel fork without altering the handling too much.

It’s a ’95 or ’96 “Suspension Homegrown.” In the model pages there’s only pictures of the red version, but you’ll see it in black in the ’95 or ’96 catalog scans.

The decals exist! Only for ’98-’99 currently. They are on ebay; this isn’t an affiliate link, I’m not the seller, and I’m not getting a portion of the proceeds. Any questions should be directed to the seller.

There’s definitely something to be said for timing. Sorry about the frame size, though. I’d be all over it if I wasn’t in the same size boat as you.

That’s pretty awesome. How did you end up with that bike?

Could also be a European Moab. In 2003 Schwinn still had them and was blowing them out in the US. I can’t seem to find a picture of mine but it looked a lot like that frame (though mine was gold).

And now there’s that one on that auction site…

Funny you should ask, I just saw a picture of the proof about 15 minutes ago. They exist! Right now only ’98-’99, possibly more to come. No idea on timing or price-my source is checking fittment tomorrow. Will update as new info comes in.
