Hmm, same seller as before. Maybe someone backed out of the deal. Or maybe the seller has more than one frame.

Heh, I’d like to get a couple more. A 98 or 99 Factory hardtail (Red/Silver or Red/Gold please), and the Green 98 Sweet Spot.

Of course that would only be a collection of 98 and 99 Homegrowns. I think the early bass boat blue and “Phantom” style paint jobs would round out the collection. I’ve never seen one of the Phantom styles before, only in the catalogs.

Think 3 or 4 Homegrowns is too many? You should see my non-Homegrown Schwinns:

Got my new frame from 2manyschwinns today. It looks sweet, and with my red 2000 frame, I should have enough parts for at least 2 Bangers. Here’s a new group shot.

Here is everything I have, that isn’t a Homegrown bike. Wish I had a thermometer. I found one in a bike shop once, but the guy wouldn’t give it to me, maybe I’ll offer to buy it next time. The one thing I still really want is one of those Tomato Vine Jerseys.

    Homegrown Hat:

Homegrown signs, top one has a broken stem, middle one is broken completely on the left, and the bottom one is perfect.

All my Homegrown Stickers, no, they are not for sale! I’m a sticker hoarder!

    Homegrown T-Shirt:

    Homegrown Long Sleeve Shirt:

    NON-Homegrown stuff:

The rest of my Schwinn Stickers:

    A sweet Sting Ray Jersey:

And a Sweet Sting Ray T Shirt:

    That’s all for now!

I’ve been planning on looking into the same thing. A local graphics place makes stickers for our batteries at work. They told us they can put whatever we want on any kind of material we want. I’ve been thinking of bringing them my Homegrown diamond stickers and seeing if they could make em smaller and closer to what is on the bike. Also thinking of bringing them my hardtail and seeing if they could somehow reproduce all of the checkered stickers. That would be golden there.

Yep, look like a 96 or 97 Homegrown (non-factory) frame. I don’t see a buffed finish listed in the 96 catalog, only 97. But as we’ve seen before, that doesn’t mean anything.

Seems you don’t see too many frames with the buffed finish anymore.

I’ve got some similar to those. That large round one is neat, I only have small ones. I don’t think I have one of the later 00-01 style stickers either. I’ll have to put them all together for a picture sometime. But I don’t want to sell any!

I don’t have any downtube stickers, those are hard to come across too.

If you ever decide to sell the stickers, you’ll have a line of people interested, including myself.

Yep, 17" seems to be the most popular. I like the bigger 19-21 sizes myself also.

One thing I noticed today, is that the Homegrown Sticker on this says "American Made" at the top. My 98 hardtail says "100% American Made" Interesting…

Good deal, too bad it’s not a bigger frame.

Your price isn’t bad, I just can’t afford that right now before Christmas. I do have a 4 banger coming my way, and hopefully it will be sent to me before Christmas. I think the frame on mine is pretty rough, which is why I would love to get a nicer frame for it. Not in a hurry to sell are you? Send me an email, I’ve got an offer for you….

You’ve got to have the pics hosted on another site like photobucket or flickr. When you click the "Insert/Edit Image" button, you put in the URL of the picture. I’d be interested in just the frame if you decide to part it.

Nathan, did you buy the Homegrown Tomato Jersey with the vines all over it for $56? I was bidding on that, I wouldn’t have if I had known you were.
